Position Purpose:

SPOC Automation is on a mission to Power Beyond What’s Possible—through world-class innovation in power conversion and through our Lift Up culture, where leadership, faith, and love create lasting impact.

We are seeking a Head of Global Influence and Purpose to partner directly with the CEO, Forbes Books, and the marketing team to elevate SPOC’s global voice. This role will be dedicated approximately 60% to building the CEO’s thought-leadership platform (book launch, blogs, podcasts, keynote prep, and social media) and 40% to developing SPOC’s leaders as subject matter experts and influencers (directors, sales professionals, and technical experts).

This is a highly strategic, hands-on leadership role. While it is a one-person position, you will leverage outside creative and production resources as needed to execute campaigns and projects. You will also have the direct authority, with CEO and CMO support, to coach, train, and guide SPOC leaders in building their influence and presence.

You will serve as a strategist, storyteller, and culture evangelist—connecting people, purpose, and performance in a way that builds a world-class brand and business.

Key Responsibilities:

CEO Thought Leadership (60%)

  • Partner with the CEO to shape and share his voice through blogs, podcasts, speeches, social media, and book content.
  • Build and manage a thought-leadership content calendar that integrates the Lift Up book, Forbes Books campaigns, and SPOC’s hybrid power expertise.
  • Coordinate executive presence at conferences, trade shows, and speaking opportunities, ensuring alignment with the Lift Up message.
  • Develop multimedia content (video, audio, written) to expand CEO influence globally.

Team Development & Subject Matter Expertise (40%)

  • Identify and coach directors, sales leaders, and technical experts to build credibility as subject matter experts and industry voices.
  • Provide training in personal branding, storytelling, and digital engagement to expand their professional influence.
  • Develop content for sales and leadership team members, including presentations, whitepapers, videos, and social content.
  • Support leaders in securing speaking opportunities, webinars, and media appearances.
  • Partner with sales and marketing to align influence-building with customer engagement, lead generation, and project wins.

Culture & External Engagement:

  • Capture and share Powered by People stories—spotlighting SPOC employees as culture ambassadors.
  • Promote Lift Up culture internally and externally through storytelling, campaigns, and recognition programs.
  • Coordinate SPOC’s participation in trade shows, media features, and industry panels, aligning all messaging with Lift Up and business goals.

Measurement & Growth:

  • Co-develop KPIs with CEO and CMO to measure thought-leadership growth, cultural influence, and commercial impact.
  • Apply a “win or learn” mindset—analyzing what works, iterating quickly, and improving continuously.
  • Track engagement, following, leads created, orders gained, speaking invitations, and cultural recognition as core outcomes.
  • Build the foundation for long-term scale, with growth potential into expanded leadership and team-building responsibilities.

General Contribution to SPOC:

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to be a contributing member of the SPOC team.
  • Assist as needed to make the company successful and to Lift Up everyone in your sphere of influence.
  • Remain open to special projects and cross-functional assignments that foster communication, culture building, brand strength, and overall company success.
  • Collaborate with all departments as needed to support SPOC’s growth and global mission.

Qualifications:

  • Proven communications, marketing, or thought-leadership experience.
  • Strong writing and storytelling ability, with skill in shaping executive and technical voices.
  • Experience coaching leaders in public speaking, branding, or subject matter influence.
  • Familiarity with social media management, podcasting, and multimedia content creation.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience supporting executives and senior leaders in external influence and brand development.
  • Passion for people, culture-building, and purpose-driven impact.
