Our Health and Benefits business helps large and mid-size clients control health and welfare plan costs, improve health outcomes, and promote employee engagement through broad-based, state-of-the-art tools and solutions. We provide consulting and brokerage expertise that encompasses plan design, vendor evaluation and management, pricing and funding strategies, data analytics, valuation support, and compliance and governance strategies. We also provide specialty consulting services including clinical/health management program design, pharmacy solutions, disability/absence management strategies, and auditing services. Product-based solutions such as our pharmacy purchasing coalition round out our broad-based suite of offerings.
The Role
In this role, you will have P&L responsibility for the Health & Benefits Business in CEEMEA and will be responsible for developing and driving the growth strategy for the business in collaboration with the CEEMEA Region Leader and the Global Head of H&B. You are expected to work closely with your peers in CEEMEA (e.g. CEEMEA Leader for Work & Reward and Employee Experience and other Region Leaders) to bring the best of WTW to our clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Driving growth by retaining and expanding current clients, acquiring new clients, developing solutions to meet the needs of the broader client base, and curating strategic relationships/partnerships that drive value for our clients and the company.
Serving as a strategic advisor to and an escalation point for clients concerning H&B and broader HR issues.
Leading and developing a deep team providing broad-based employee benefits solutions.
Contributing thought leadership to the overall development of the H&B business, impacting both the geography P&L and WTW’s global company brand and market share.
Leading transformation and integration initiatives, ensuring alignment of people, processes and systems across the region.
Championing a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, including the development and execution of internal audit and excellence change plans.
Ensuring the business operates within all relevant local regulatory frameworks, proactively managing regulatory risks, and benchmarking against industry best practices
You will be part of both the CEEMEA Leadership Team and the Global H&B Leadership Team.
Performance Objectives
The Requirements
Significant experience and success in leading a Health & Benefits business in a complex region.
Proven ability to generate revenue and manage a profitable P&L
Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix across a variety of client segments and geographies
Significant experience and success in leading transformation and integration projects, ideally within multinational or complex regional environments.
An executive presence with polished and well-developed written and oral communication skills.
Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management across multiple regions and work across all levels of an organization.
Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of the latest developments in Health & Benefits approaches and contributing to the development of new tools and approaches.
Knowledge of pensions and retirement solutions is highly advantageous
Flexibility with regard to travel – estimated at 25%, which may vary according to business priorities, client need, and candidate location.
