GameStop is seeking a bold, strategic, and people-driven leader to serve as our next
Head of Human Resources
. This role will shape the future of our workforce and culture—leading a modern, high-impact HR function that fuels innovation, accountability, and growth. You’ll partner directly with senior leadership team to evolve how we attract, develop, and retain top talent across a dynamic, multi-state organization. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, operations, and culture—building programs that inspire people and move the business forward.
This position sits onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX.
Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership. Design and implement a long-term people strategy that supports GameStop’s growth, transformation, and employee experience.

Executive Partnership. Advise the leadership team on organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership effectiveness.

Talent Management. Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, development, performance management, and succession planning.

Leadership Development. Create programs that strengthen leadership capability and empower associates to grow their careers.

Total Rewards. Lead the design and administration of competitive, equitable compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.

HR Operations & Technology. Modernize HR systems, analytics, and processes to enhance accuracy, agility, and the overall employee experience.

Compliance & Risk Management. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws while fostering a culture of ethics, transparency, and fairness.

Employee Relations. Provide trusted counsel to leaders and associates, maintaining an environment of respect, fairness, and open communication.

Organizational Effectiveness. Continuously evaluate and optimize structures, processes, and programs to support business performance and operational excellence.
Qualifications

10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including executive-level oversight of multi-state operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Proven success leading strategic HR initiatives that drive organizational and cultural transformation.

Deep expertise in employment law, compensation and benefits design, and HR systems.

Exceptional communication, collaboration, and executive-level presentation skills.

Strong business and financial acumen, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Experience in UKG HCM and WFM a plus.
