Head of Information Technology (Infrastructure & Operation)

Job Purpose:

The Head of IT Infrastructure & Operation will lead the design, implementation, and management of the company's technical foundations. This role ensures that the Microfinance platform including Core Banking ( Temenos ), Gateway APIs, and Cloud environments is stable, secure, and highly available. The primary goal is to shift from manual deployments to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) while maintaining strict compliance with Saudi financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud & Platform Leadership

• Design and manage scalable, secure Cloud Infrastructure environments with tenancy-level administration.
• Directly oversee Kubernetes (OpenShift) clusters to ensure high performance for critical banking applications.
• Implement Identity Domain user/group management and IAM policies to secure access to production environments.
• Manage virtualization and storage systems (VMware) to optimize resource utilization.

Automation & DevOps (IaC Strategy)

• Enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure consistency and scalability across hybrid cloud environments.
• Set up and manage GitLab servers and runners to support collaborative CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate application builds, testing, and deployment through CD pipelines.
• Utilize YAML files for configuration management to ensure accuracy in application settings.

Required Technical Skills

• Cloud Platforms : Expert knowledge of OCI, with additional experience in Cloud.
• Orchestration : Proficiency in Kubernetes (OpenShift), Helm, and Docker.
• Operating Systems : Advanced administration of Linux, RHEL, and Windows Server.
• Automation Tools : Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Ansible.
• Databases : Expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL server deployment, tuning, and replication
