Role Overview
The Head of Learning & Development (L&D) will be responsible for building and leading ProcDNA’s capability development function from the ground up. This leader will design a structured, multi-year learning roadmap, manage content and delivery, and build a high-performing internal training team.
This is a full-time leadership role based in India (Delhi or Pune) with frequent travel to the U.S. The leader will be empowered to hire and manage a team of 10+ learning professionals over time, creating a scalable L&D function that supports ProcDNA’s growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Design
- Partner with ProcDNA’s leadership team to define clear learning pathways and competency frameworks across levels — Analyst, Senior Analyst, Team Lead, Senior Team Lead, Engagement Lead, Senior Engagement Lead, etc.
- Build a structured, multi-year training roadmap covering the first six years of an employee’s career at ProcDNA , ensuring a progressive blend of technical, analytical, business, and leadership skill development.
2. Training Calendar & Delivery Rhythm
- Develop and manage a comprehensive annual training calendar, detailing content, trainers, cadence, and delivery mechanisms.
- Identify internal and external trainers to conduct sessions across domains such as data science, technology, communication, consulting skills, and leadership.
3. Trainer Recruitment & Development
- Build a network of qualified trainers, ensuring timely content readiness and alignment with ProcDNA’s quality standards.
- Trainers will likely include experienced leaders within ProcDNA who bring deep expertise in pharmaceutical analytics, consulting, and technology domains — while also leveraging external trainers where specialized knowledge adds value.
- Support and coach trainers to deliver engaging, relevant, and outcome-driven programs.
4. Execution & Governance
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of the L&D program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Establish measurement frameworks for learning effectiveness and business impact.
- Continuously refine and improve the training architecture based on feedback and evolving company needs.
5. Team Leadership
- Build and lead an internal L&D team of 10+ professionals responsible for program coordination, content design, delivery, and analytics.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, ownership, and innovation within the organization.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading training programs within a leading consulting or professional services firm.
- Strong understanding of learning design, capability building, and training program management.
