We are seeking a Director of Marketing to join our senior leadership team and lead the next chapter
of our marketing transformation. This is not a maintenance role—it is a mandate to build, innovate,
and lead.
You will inherit an established performance and paid media team, but your primary charge will be to
develop and elevate our capabilities across three critical domains: mobile-first marketing,
sophisticated direct marketing, and contemporary brand building. Success in this role requires
equal parts strategic vision, executional rigour, and instinctive brand sensibility.
Strategic Priorities
Mobile App & PWA Marketing Excellence
  • Drive aggressive mobile app acquisition, activation, and engagement strategies across iOS
and Android
  • Champion our Progressive Web App (PWA) as a strategic channel for markets with lower
app adoption
  • Build and optimise the full mobile lifecycle—from download through to retained, high-value
users
  • Establish mobile as the primary transaction channel, relentlessly improving MAU growth and
in-app conversion rates
Direct Marketing & Customer Database Activation
  • Unlock the full potential of our extensive proprietary customer database spanning the GCC
  • Build sophisticated direct marketing capabilities—CRM, marketing automation, lifecycle
campaigns, and personalisation at scale
  • Develop advanced segmentation strategies and predictive models to drive retention and
reactivation
  • Implement and optimise the technology stack required for world-class direct marketing
executionBrand Building in a Digital-First World
  • Lead the strategic transition from dual brands to a unified brand identity rooted in GCC
culture and values
  • Use social media with sophistication—communicating product value and competitive
advantages whilst building authentic community engagement
  • Craft compelling brand narratives that resonate equally with Arabic and English-speaking
audiences
  • Rigorously protect brand integrity and positioning whilst navigating the complexities of brand
consolidation
Core Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the existing performance marketing and paid media team whilst building
new capabilities
  • Own the marketing P&L with accountability for customer acquisition costs, retention
economics, and overall marketing ROI
  • Design and execute integrated campaigns across performance, brand, and direct channels
  • Build strategic partnerships with banks, tourism boards, retail brands, and financial
institutions across the UAE and GCC
  • Champion a customer-first philosophy across the organisation, ensuring every touchpoint
reflects our commitment to service and simplicity
  • Contribute as a key member of the senior management team to company strategy, culture,
and cross-functional initiatives
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies—AI, personalisation engines, marketing
automation—and evaluate their application to our objectives
Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with significant depth in digital
and performance marketing
  • Demonstrable success in mobile app marketing, user acquisition, and lifecycle management
at scale
  • Deep expertise in CRM, marketing automation, and direct marketing strategy execution
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to manage budgets and deliver measurable
business outcomes
  • Experience in the GCC market with understanding of both Arabic and English-speaking
consumer segments
  • Background in e-commerce, travel, airlines, fintech, or consumer technology strongly
preferred
  • Instinctive brand sensibility with appreciation for brand building in a rapidly evolving digital
landscape
  • Bachelor//'s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or related
field preferred
