About the Role:

As the Head of Marketing Technology and Operations at The Walt Disney Company, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our marketing technology initiatives. Reporting:

You will report to The Walt Disney Company’s Chief Marketing and Brand Officer. This role is based in Burbank, California.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, managing a portfolio of marketing technology solutions, and driving operational innovation. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring that our marketing technology and operations are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our strategic goals. This role directly impacts the effectiveness and modernization of our marketing efforts, ultimately contributing to the company's growth and success. Key skills required include strategic thinking, business insight, and the ability to inspire and lead teams.

  • Lead the strategic direction for marketing technology and operations, focusing on both short-term and long-term success.
  • Inspire individual and business success by defining and confidently communicating a compelling vision for the future.
  • Define strategies, expectations, and priorities to ensure the organization has a clear picture of what is needed to succeed.
  • Create an environment where Disney values are experienced, encouraging creative problem-solving and ensuring everyone’s voice is heard.
  • Lead management and delivery of marketing transformation efforts across Disney, including the integration across the Global Marketing leadership team.
  • Manage KPI standardization, data taxonomies, dashboards, and QA for reporting.
  • Enable advanced analytics (MMM, MTA, predictive models) and manage campaign projects and timelines.

  • Partnering with our technology and product teams to:

o Oversee MarTech vision, roadmap, and stack administration (CRM, DAM, CDP)

o Oversee AI marketing roadmap and upskilling of capabilities across the Global Marketing organization

o Conduct marketing needs assessments, define requirements, and specify tools for automation, increasing productivity, and increasing speed to market

o Select, test, and roll out MarTech products/tools, including user training.

  • Drive continuous improvement, adoption, and performance tracking.
  • Provide continuous coaching and feedback, fostering an environment of open, honest communication.
  • Develop self and others, supporting career aspirations and promoting growth and development.

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in Marketing or Entertainment operations, technology, or related experience.
  • 10+ years of management experience.
  • Proven experience building and leading mid to large diverse teams.
  • Experience working with Product Manager & Engineering teams to build and implement tooling solutions.
  • Experience managing and partnering with external vendors in the product, technology, and media spaces.
  • Excellent business communications and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering successful enterprise-wide, business, and multi-disciplinary change initiatives.
  • Advanced knowledge of both program/project management and change management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.


The salary range for this position is $285,700.00-$383,100.00. This range represents the expected base pay for this role and will be determined based on factors including job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This position may also be eligible for bonus, incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and retirement benefits, in accordance with applicable plans and policies.
