Head of Networks Procurement - MI

Your Mission

Reporting directly to the Chief Procurement Officer, you will be a key leader in the central procurement organization, responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for network categories including RAN, Core, and Transmission. You will ensure alignment with Axian Telecom's business objectives, lead a team of category managers and specialists, and foster strong relationships with suppliers to drive value, innovation, and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for network infrastructure and technologies aligned with business needs.
• Lead and manage a diverse team of category managers and specialists across multiple countries, ensuring performance management and succession planning.
• Collaborate closely with technical and commercial teams to align procurement with network rollout and modernization plans.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier performance meets group standards.
• Champion the transition to a centralized procurement model, ensuring smooth alignment with local operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and sustainability standards in all procurement activities.
• Monitor and report on KPIs including cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement efficiency.
