Head of New Ventures

Role Summary

The Head of New Ventures will lead the identification, evaluation, development, and execution of new business opportunities aligned with the company’s long-term strategic objectives. This role is responsible for driving innovation, building new revenue streams, and expanding the organization into digital products, specifically targeting customers such as banks, Healthcare, and education.

Duties And Responsibilities

Strategy & Opportunity Identification

  • Conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify high-potential growth opportunities.
  • Identify emerging technologies, evolving customer needs, and whitespace opportunities across target industries.
  • Develop a structured pipeline of innovation initiatives and venture ideas aligned with corporate strategy.

Business Case Development & Validation

  • Develop and validate business cases, financial models, and ROI projections for new ventures.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and scenario planning.

Venture Execution & Scaling

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of new ventures from ideation to launch, scaling, or exit.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to prototype, pilot, and test new business ideas (e.g., MVPs, proof of concepts).

Partnerships Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions to accelerate growth.
  • Build relationships with startups, technology partners, industry experts, regulators, and investors.

Job Specifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, venture building, and business development
  • Must have good working relationship with Banking institutions.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling new businesses, digital products, or platforms.
