Role Description

As Dr Vapes accelerates its growth across the MENA region, we are seeking an experienced and driven Head of MENA Operations to take ownership of our highest-performing regional market. This role is ideal for a commercially minded operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can bring structure, oversight and executional excellence to a rapidly scaling business.

You will act as the regional right-hand to the management ensuring that our operations run like clockwork, our commercial strategy is executed effectively and all key day-to-day activities across the MENA sales function are tightly managed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Regional Performance & Execution

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the MENA region, ensuring all departments (sales, logistics, finance, compliance) are aligned and delivering against KPIs.
  • Drive sales performance by monitoring targets, identifying blockers and enabling the sales team to achieve quarterly and annual goals.
  • Collaborate with key distributors and stakeholders to unlock new revenue opportunities and improve market penetration.

Strategy & Planning

  • Lead the monthly and quarterly planning cycles across sales, finance, and product teams for the MENA region.
  • Own and update the MENA-specific P&L, working closely with the CEO and finance to ensure strong commercial oversight and margin protection.
  • Identify gaps in market coverage, portfolio offering or pricing structures and suggest solutions that unlock growth.

Process & Operational Leadership

  • Define and improve internal processes and systems that affect order processing, payment collection, product launches, logistics and customer support.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and coordinate with the team for timely collections and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure all activities are in full compliance with regulations, packaging laws, restrictions and tax requirements.

Team Coordination

  • Act as the regional team lead: setting weekly priorities, guiding the team’s day-to-day execution and acting as a key escalation point.
  • Ensure the sales team is fully supported from an operational and strategic perspective without being bogged down by admin.
  • Support team members in goal-setting, accountability and performance reviews.

The Person

  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in operations, regional management, commercial ops or business management, preferably within FMCG, vaping, cosmetics, or consumer electronics.
  • Proven track record in managing a regional P&L, driving sales ops, and supporting high-performing commercial teams.
  • Strong understanding of the MENA business environment, including logistics, distributor structures, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working across multiple functions (sales, finance, marketing, logistics) and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to execute under pressure.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led business where priorities evolve and adaptability is key.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED340,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
