Job Purpose:
The Head of Private Client Coverage will be responsible for establishing and leading the Bank’s private banking franchise, with full accountability for sales strategy, client coverage, and revenue performance across HNW and UHNW segments. The role will combine strategic leadership with frontline execution, ensuring sustainable growth, differentiated client experience, and strict adherence to the regulatory, compliance, and governance standards of the Central Bank of the UAE and the Securities & Commodities Authority.
The individual will oversee the front-line sales team (RMs and ARMs), building a scalable coverage model, embedding a high-performance culture, and driving cross-product penetration across investment, lending, and wealth solutions.
Key Accountabilities:
Sales strategy & client coverage

Define Private Banking sales strategy, ensuring alignment with client goals and market dynamics

Lead client acquisition, relationship deepening, and retention across HNW and UHNW segments

Drive cross-product penetration across investment, lending, and wealth solutions.

Build segmentation and coverage models, ensuring differentiated service and client experience.
Sales function leadership and performance management

Recruit, develop, and manage Relationship Managers and Assistant Relationship Managers

Set clear performance objectives and sales targets; monitor delivery and outcomes

Build structured training, coaching, and career development pathways to elevate frontline capability

Ensure succession planning and Emiratization objectives are embedded within the function.
Platform and governance

Establish sales governance, risk frameworks, and compliance alignment

Partner with product, operations, and risk teams to deliver seamless client experience

Oversee client onboarding, service quality, and due diligence processes

Ensure adherence to AML/CFT, client suitability, and appropriateness standards in partnership with Compliance and Risk.

Client advisory and market presence

Act as senior face of Private Banking for client engagements, forums, and media

Partner with internal stakeholders to shape bespoke client propositions and mandate discussions

Deliver thought leadership through market insights, commentary, and client events.

Represent the Bank with regulators, media, and industry associations where appropriate.
Key Qualification & Experience:

15+ years in private banking, wealth management, or client coverage leadership roles

Proven track record in managing large RM/ARM teams and delivering sustained AUM and revenue growth

Strong commercial acumen and experience with GCC-based HNW/UHNW clients

Advanced degree or professional qualification (CFA, MBA) preferred

Demonstrated success in building scalable client acquisition and retention models
