Leads the procurement function of Client’s Contracting and Services Sector, including development and implementation of strategic and operational sourcing, procurement, planning, subcontracting and supply management strategies, and operations processes to ensure the organisation attains the best value in the goods and services required to enable achievement of its goals.
Principal Accountabilities:

Develop and implement procurement policies and processes to standardize practices across Business Units and drive long-term efficiency and improvements.

Manage centralized procurement budgets to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.

Analyze market trends and best practices to enhance procurement processes, manage risks, and strengthen governance frameworks.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders to address business needs, resolve issues, and deliver cost, service, and quality outcomes.

Conduct regular business reviews and recommend policy and process improvements aligned with market changes.

Identify and mitigate commercial, operational, financial, and supply chain risks while encouraging innovation.

Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Establish performance metrics and reporting to track procurement outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.

Promote procurement value and ensure adherence to policies in dynamic environments.

Lead and manage procurement teams, driving performance and delivering high-quality stakeholder support.

Oversee team development, performance management, and procurement training programs.

Act as the central point for procurement guidance, policies, and training across departments.

Develop and manage SLAs with Business Units and projects.

Prepare annual procurement budgets, strategies, and KPI reporting.

Build long-term partnerships with manufacturers and subcontractors and support strategic pricing initiatives.

Implement vendor management programs and maintain strong ethical governance practices.

Drive global sourcing strategies and leverage e-procurement tools.

Manage risk allocation with suppliers and optimize inventory strategies with internal stakeholders.

Oversee end-to-end inventory management, performance tracking, automation, and demand forecasting.
Minimum Requirements:
• Outstanding team building and leadership skills.
• Master’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 15+ years’ experience within construction and contracting industry with hands-on experience.
• 6 years experience in a managerial/head role.
• Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in procurement.
• Experience with sourcing and procurement and vendor program building.
• Solid analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record in global relationships with major suppliers and specialist subcontractors.
