Head of Production

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Production to lead and manage all production-related activities of the Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling production operations while ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to the GM & Direcor on production performance and progress.
• Lead the development and implementation of efficient production strategies to reduce rework, wastage, and operational inefficiencies.
• Plan and manage production infrastructure to support current operations and future growth.
• Ensure effective internal and external controls, including wastage reduction, overtime management, and implementation of HSE, 5S, and Kaizen practices.
• Oversee production schedules, training plans, and timely reporting.
• Establish product standardization matrices and asset allocation and maintenance records.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor production teams through continuous training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Implement and monitor KPIs related to quality, productivity, and timelines.
• Develop and enforce preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., paint shops) to ensure smooth and timely production activities.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and competitor practices related to production.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: BE (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering)
• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of relevant production experience, with proven leadership exposure
• Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and analytical tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs270,000.00 per month
