A Snapshot of Your Day

As Head of Project Installation & Commissioning Management Region Middle East (Project ICM RME) you are leading a team of Installation and Commissioning Managers, engaged in projects in the Region Middle East from Project Handover until Project Execution Closure.

Your team will lead the installation and commissioning activities for their projects in such way that it leads to customer satisfaction and fulfilment of the goals set out by contract, budget, directives and commitments.

You together with your team will work from out of our Dammam facility in Saudi Arabia.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You engage your team on several projects in Middle East and safeguard their support to the Global Project Manager(s) in leading the negotiations and the execution of the local booked Installation & Commissioning (I&C) contracts.
• For the offshore projects, you support your Project ICM’s in following up all activities carried out in the construction yards (China, Korea, etc.). By doing so, you safeguard the Project ICM having the correct understanding of the status when the equipment arrives in Region Middle East.
• For the project activities in the middle east, you keep track on the Installation & Commissioning developments from as well technical as the commercial side.
• You implement a standardized way of working within your team which safeguards transparency over all the projects (Information storage, Site briefings, Progress monitoring (time & Budget), Progress reporting, etc.)
• You initiate and lead Weekly progress meetings in which you discuss with your team the progress and challenges on their individual projects.
• By overseeing all Region Middle East projects, you will create transparency in the required Field service resources over time.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, (or foreign degree equivalent) with between 6 to 8 years track record of Site Supervisory Management in the Oil & Gas Industry in a similar position, where Installation & Commissioning as well onshore as Offshore of “Rotating Equipment” has been the focal point.
• Preferably in-depth Centrifugal Compressor (Hands on) experience.
• Knowledge of Compression related systems such as Control Systems, Anti surge systems, Anti pulsation systems, Seal-gas systems, lube oil systems and different driver types like Steam Turbines, Gas Turbine, E-Motor and VFD systems.
• Proven leadership skills with decision-making abilities as related to maintaining and completing the I&C activities with Time, Material and Budget.
• Proven Strong Team player skills with Cross regional teams involved.
• Verbal and written communication in English, fluent in the local regional language (would be an advantage).
