Head of Purchase (Nariman Point, Mumbai)

• Key Responsibilities: Require candidates who are working or worked in Wellness/Pharma/Diagnostics Companies ONLY.
• Develop and manage end-to-end purchasing processes for all clinic requirements.
• Identify reliable vendors and maintain long-term, performance-driven supplier relationships.
• Ensure timely procurement of veterinary medicines, surgical items, medical equipment, consumables, and office supplies.
• Review purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders (POs), and follow up for on-time delivery.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels across all locations in coordination with clinic managers and the store team.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers for cost efficiency.
• Monitor market trends to anticipate supply risks, price fluctuations, and new product availability.
• Ensure all purchases comply with internal policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with finance for invoice clearance, vendor payments, and audit support.
• Regularly evaluate vendor performance in terms of pricing, quality, and reliability.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and MIS reports.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Qualifications and Experience:
• 12–15 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in healthcare, veterinary, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong knowledge of vendor management and negotiation strategies.
• Experience in working with ERP tools or procurement software (Tally, Zoho, SAP, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
