Job Title: Head of R&D / Expansion Strategy

Job Summary:

We are on a seek out for a highly skilled & experienced Head of R&D in supermarket specialized in all FMCG product and market terminology analyser to expand and lead our operations and business development.

The ideal candidate should have versatlie knowledge in market research, location feasibility, and expansion strategy for all new supermarket outlets across UAE and the ability to drive multiple supermarket outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define expansion roadmap (areas, formats, timelines)
• Approve store feasibility reports
• Analyze competitor presence (LuLu, Nesto, West Zone, Carrefour Market)
• Coordinate with leasing, finance, and operations
• Final sign-off recommendation to Chairman

KPIs to be followed:

• Accuracy of sales projections vs actual
• Success rate of new store openings
• ROI and payback period adherence

Requirements

• 10+ years retail expansion experience (UAE/GCC)
• Strong analytics & decision-making
• Reports directly to Chairman / Board
