Job Overview

This role owns all banking, financial institution, and payment rail relationships for AX Coin EMEA. The Head of Reserve, Treasury and Financial Institutions is responsible for designing and operating the banking, settlement, liquidity, and payment infrastructure that underpins AX Coin’s stablecoin issuance and payments ecosystem. This is a highly execution-focused role requiring deep understanding of transaction banking, settlement, and regulated payment flows.

What You Will Do

1. Establish and manage strategic relationships with:

Local and regional banks

Financial institutions

Settlement and payment partners

2. Lead onboarding and integration of:

Settlement accounts

Payment rails

Liquidity and treasury flows

3. Define and govern payment flows, reconciliations, and settlement processes.

4. Act as primary point of contact for all banking partners.

5. Work closely with compliance, product, and operations teams to ensure regulatory alignment.

6. Support expansion of banking and payment capabilities across EMEA.

7. Ensure operational resilience, transparency, and scalability of FI relationships.

Key Requirements

1. 7–15+ years in payments, transaction banking, treasury, or financial infrastructure roles.

2. Strong understanding of payment systems, settlement mechanics, and liquidity management.

3. Experience supporting regulated financial products or platforms.

4. Proven ability to manage senior banking stakeholders

5. International experience and qualifications highly desirable

6. Strong execution discipline and cross-functional collaboration skills
