Weâre Hiring: Head of Direct Sales â Media / Advertising
đ Location: Dubai, UAE
đŒ Employment Type: Full-Time
đ Experience: 7â10 years in media sales, including at least 3 years in a leadership or team management role
Iâm partnering with a leading Digital-out-of-Home (DooH) media network in the UAE that operates over 2,500 digital screens across Dubai and Abu Dhabi â reaching more than 1 million people daily through prime indoor and outdoor locations.
They are looking for an experienced Head of Direct Sales to lead their direct sales division, drive revenue growth, and manage key client relationships.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position where youâll oversee the direct sales team, manage major client accounts, and play a key role in developing commercial strategies that expand the companyâs market presence.
The ideal candidate is both a strong team leader and an active closer â someone who can motivate the team, deliver personal revenue targets, and grow established client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and manage the direct sales team to achieve consistent revenue growth.
Set clear KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and build a high-performance culture.
Recruit, train, and develop sales talent to strengthen the team.
Collaborate with senior management on sales strategy, pricing, and forecasting.
Client Engagement & Business Development
Manage and grow key client accounts with senior-level decision-makers.
Identify client objectives and propose tailored advertising solutions.
Represent the company in negotiations and major campaign discussions.
Drive new business development across sectors such as Banking, Auto, Airlines, F&B, FMCG, Hospitality, and Luxury.
Revenue & Performance Management
Monitor sales pipelines, forecast revenue, and analyze performance trends.
Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization and campaign yield.
Align commercial efforts with company objectives and marketing initiatives.
Sales & Marketing Collaboration
Work closely with marketing on lead generation, case studies, and campaign materials.
Support cross-functional collaboration to maximize campaign effectiveness.
Training & KPI Oversight
Identify skill gaps and implement ongoing training programs.
Set and monitor KPIs, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
Who Weâre Looking For
Proven track record in media or advertising sales, with strong deal-closing and key account management experience.
At least 3 years of leadership experience managing a sales team.
Strong understanding of Out-of-Home (OOH) and Digital-Out-of-Home (DooH) media.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Data-driven mindset with strong commercial acumen.
Proactive, entrepreneurial, and able to balance strategy with execution.
Collaborative and team-oriented leader.
