Job Description: Head of Sales

Department: Sales

Reports To: CEO / Managing Director

Location: Cavalry Ground, Lahore

Job Summary:

The Head of Sales is responsible for leading telecom sales operations, driving revenue growth, and managing sales teams. This role focuses on achieving targets, expanding market presence, and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Lead the creation of sales plans, forecasts, performance goals, and quota models.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape go-to-market approaches and commercial priorities.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, manage, and coach a high-performance sales team; recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Set clear targets, KPIs, and performance expectations, conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Foster a results-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused sales culture.

Sales Operations & Process Optimization

  • Oversee the sales pipeline, CRM utilization, forecasting processes, and sales performance metrics.
  • Implement sales tools, automation, and operational improvements to boost productivity and scaling.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and regular insights to senior leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead key account management and high-value negotiations to close strategic deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and strategic meetings.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 8+ years of sales experience, preferably in telecom
  • 3+ years in a senior sales leadership role
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
