Head of Sales

Lead and manage the company’s sales operations with full ownership of revenue growth, market penetration, and commercial performance. Develop and execute high-impact sales strategies to build the sales function from the ground up, increase market share, and drive sustainable revenue growth in a highly competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company growth and revenue objectives
  • Build, structure, and lead the sales function from the ground up, including processes, channels, and team capabilities
  • Drive aggressive market penetration and expand the company’s presence despite low brand awareness
  • Identify, develop, and grow sales channels (retail, wholesale, HORECA, and partnerships) to maximize market reach
  • Lead and manage the sales team, set clear targets, and continuously monitor and improve performance
  • Personally engage in high-value deals and key account acquisition, acting as a strong closer when needed
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and strategic partners
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity, and take proactive corrective actions
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and operations to support product launches and promotional campaigns
  • Ensure full market coverage and operational efficiency across all sales regions
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and strategic insights to senior management
  • Continuously optimize sales processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational gaps


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 8–10+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the food, FMCG, or consumer goods industry
  • Proven track record of building sales operations, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue growth
  • Strong experience in handling competitive markets and selling products with low brand awareness
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, build, and develop high-performing sales teams
  • Strong commercial mindset with hands-on approach and execution-driven attitude
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • High level of ownership, resilience, and ability to work under pressure
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a “hunter” mentality and strong drive to win in the market
