What You Can Expect :

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor sales strategies for the Air & Ocean (A&O) departments.
  • Drive new customer acquisition, increase customer satisfaction, and ensure revenue growth.
  • Manage the sales team, set performance targets, and provide coaching and mentoring.
  • Collaborate closely with the global network to identify and leverage international business opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis to monitor pricing, competition, and industry trends.
  • Take an active role in large-scale tender processes (RFQ, RFI, Tender).
  • Prepare the annual sales budget and strategic plans aligned with company goals.
  • Monitor KPIs, prepare sales reports, and deliver regular performance presentations to senior management.
  • Oversee and ensure accurate Rhenus CRM system tracking and reporting.
  • Prepare tailored proposals in response to customer inquiries and manage the quotation process.
  • Support customer retention by organizing joint visits with Product and Business Development teams and hosting workshops to update customers on new regulations, products, and solutions.
  • Plan and manage medium and large-scale commercial accounts.
  • Build trust-based relationships with customers through strong knowledge of their business and market.
  • Report results, share insights, and align strategic direction in collaboration with Senior Management and Regional Offices.
  • Apply strategic sales methodologies, including value-based selling approaches.
  • Conduct monthly and annual cost-benefit analyses of sales performance.

What You Bring:

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Transportation and Logistics or a related field.
    Master’s degree in Logistics is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics sales, particularly in Freight Forwarding / Transport Brokerage Sales.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both English and Turkish.
  • Strong strategic decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability in effective change management.
  • Demonstrated capability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Regional team management experience with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Skilled in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong representation, planning, organization, and coordination abilities.
  • Excellent customer relationship management and client satisfaction focus.
