Role Purpose
To build and scale the WorldOne sales engine — distributor + retailer + institutional + modern trade — and drive predictable revenue growth from ₹32 cr → ₹60 cr → ₹100 cr.
This is not a “maintenance sales manager” role.
This is a growth driver & revenue architect role.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement
- Build annual/quarterly sales targets
- Break into region-wise + product-wise targets
- Distributor/retailer onboarding strategy
- Institutional + corporate + modern trade penetration
2. Sales Process & CRM
- Create a structured sales pipeline system
- Define daily visit targets, beat plans & DSR formats
- Build & enforce territory-wise call cycles
- Introduce CRM/ERP-based reporting
- Build weekly/monthly sales dashboards
3. Sales Team Performance Management
- Lead field team reviews every week
- Set KRAs, incentives, consequences
- Skill development — product pitch, negotiation, closing
- Reduce dependency mindset & build ownership culture
4. Sales & Marketing Alignment
- Work with marketing to generate leads & content
- Build campaigns for seasonal products (Diaries, BTS, Festive)
- Execute WhatsApp + retail activation plans
- Ensure every campaign converts into orders, not noise
5. Channel Development
- Expand distribution network pan-India
- Identify regional growth gaps
- Appoint channel partners in empty pockets
- Boost sales from modern trade, universities, corporates
6. Business Analytics
- Analyse sales by SKU, region, channel
- Focus on high-margin products
- Drive liquidation of slow movers smartly
- Plan forecasting with Ops monthly
