HEAD, PROJECT CONTROL & SERVICES

Primary Purpose of the Job:
The Head, Project Control & Services leads the Project Services team in delivering high‑quality Cost Estimation, Cost Monitoring and Control (including budget control), Planning and Scheduling, Invoice Processing and Monitoring, and Document Control services. The role ensures that all projects are executed successfully—on time, within budget, and fully aligned with project requirements—while actively supporting and promoting the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) in full compliance with the company’s QHSE Management System.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas sector delivering major projects, including 7+ years as a Head/Lead Project Control Engineer with an EPIC Contractor on Infrastructure and Civil projects.
  • Strong hands‑on capability in planning and scheduling using Primavera P6, P6 Analytics, Primavera Risk Analysis, MS Project, MS Office, and SAP.
  • Proven expertise in cost estimation, cost monitoring/control, and reporting, as well as implementing industry best practices and company procedures.
  • Experience supporting the development of project execution strategies, engineering workflows, and project management processes.
  • Solid understanding of engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and start‑up activities for infrastructure and civil works.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with strong English proficiency in reporting and meeting management.

Educational Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University; higher degree would be advantageous.
  • Membership of a recognized professional engineering association/institution. PMP certification would be advantageous.
