Role Overview:
We are seeking a
seasoned SCM professional
to lead and optimize our
end-to-end supply chain
, including
procurement, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution
. This strategic role will ensure
cost-effective, timely, and quality-driven
supply chain operations aligned with global business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Supply Chain Leadership:

Lead the entire supply chain function - procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics, and inventory

Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with company goals and international market demands

Build a robust vendor base and ensure long-term sourcing agreements for key raw materials and packaging

Optimize cost, lead time, and inventory turnover while ensuring uninterrupted supply to production and export schedules
Operations & Planning:
-
Oversee material planning (MRP), production planning, and demand forecasting based on sales forecasts and capacity

Ensure accurate inventory management across all locations with strong coordination between warehouse, QA, and production

Drive just-in-time (JIT), safety stock, and buffer strategies to minimize stockouts or overstocking

Monitor and improve supply chain KPIs (OTIF, lead time, forecast accuracy, inventory days, etc.)
Team & Vendor Management:

Lead and develop a team of professionals in procurement, warehouse, logistics, and planning

Build strong relationships with vendors, freight forwarders, CHAs, and packaging suppliers

Ensure compliance with GMP, FSSAI, AYUSH, USFDA, and export regulations related to material movement
Logistics & Distribution:

Ensure efficient handling of domestic and international logistics - including air, sea, and road freight

Oversee timely dispatch of finished goods, export documentation, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery

Implement cost-effective freight strategies and ensure alignment with customer delivery expectations
Compliance & Technology:

Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal SOPs in all supply chain functions

Work closely with QA, QC, R&D, Finance, and Sales to streamline operations

Leverage ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle) and other digital tools to drive transparency and efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor's in Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, or Engineering; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Operations is preferred
-
15+ years of experience in end-to-end supply chain, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
-
Experience in herbal, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sectors is highly desirable

Strong knowledge of global procurement, inventory control, logistics, compliance, and ERP systems
-
Proven leadership, negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills
