We are seeking a customer-focused and team-oriented Head Teller to oversee daily teller operations while providing exceptional service to our customers. This role is responsible for supporting and coaching Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), assisting with operational activities, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to service excellence.
Coordinate and support daily CSR and teller operations to ensure efficient customer service.
Perform a variety of teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cashier's checks, money orders, safe deposit box services, and ATM card support.
Train, coach, and monitor CSR performance to ensure adherence to bank policies and customer service standards.
Open new accounts and perform account maintenance activities.
Process ACH transactions, wire transfers, and research account-related inquiries.
Manage vault operations and maintain cash controls.
Serve as the primary resource for resolving customer questions and concerns.
Promote bank products and services through customer referrals and relationship building.
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Perform additional duties, as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
One to three years of banking experience required.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Basic understanding of accounting procedures and cash handling practices.
Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with standard office equipment and banking systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
