Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end tendering and estimation process for ropeway projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market competitiveness.
  • Develop and implement cost estimation models and bidding strategies tailored to the unique requirements of ropeway projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and project management, to gather accurate data for tender submissions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor bids, and industry benchmarks to refine bidding strategies and ensure competitive positioning.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed technical and financial proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and project specifications.
  • Drive innovation in estimation methodologies, leveraging advanced tools and technologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, consultants, and internal teams, to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the tendering process.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of submitted bids, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to internal governance processes and approval protocols for all tender submissions.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience of 10 to 15 years in cost estimation, tendering, and bidding within the infrastructure or ropeways sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing bidding strategies for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ropeway systems, construction methodologies, and project lifecycle management.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Project Management is preferred.
