Head Waiter

Job Title: Captain Waiter – Lebanese Restaurant

Reports To: Restaurant Manager

Pre-Requisite: Lebanese National

Job Summary:

The Captain Waiter is responsible for supervising the service team during shifts, ensuring high standards of guest service, smooth table operations, and coordination between the floor and kitchen. The role requires strong leadership, excellent product knowledge of Lebanese cuisine, and the ability to deliver a refined dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate waiters within the assigned section during service.
• Ensure guests receive professional, friendly, and attentive service at all times.
• Take orders accurately and ensure timely service of food and beverages.
• Explain the menu, daily specials, and Lebanese dishes to guests confidently.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle guest feedback, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and overall dining area presentation.
• Train, guide, and support junior waiters to maintain service standards.
• Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Assist management in achieving service quality and guest satisfaction targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience as a Captain Waiter or Senior Waiter in a Lebanese or high-quality restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese cuisine and dining service standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: KD350.000 - KD400.000 per month
