Health and Safety Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Health & Safety Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of HSE policies and procedures, ensure compliance with UAE regulations and main contractor requirements, and promote a strong safety culture across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend preventive measures.
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks to supervisors and laborers.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and the main contractor to ensure safety standards are maintained.
• Maintain accurate records of safety performance, incidents, and inspections.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (NEBOSH/IOSH certification is a must).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Health & Safety within the construction industry .
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and construction safety practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and enforce safety standards effectively.
