We are hiring Immediately Junior Level Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Cum Document Controller with 1 year experience
Salary will be AED 2500 TO 3500
- Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety inspections.
- Ensure compliance with NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 14001 2018 standards and local safety regulations (ADOSH).
- Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees.
- Investigate workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
- Maintain HSE records, including incident logs, audits, safety documentation and requesting PPEs and necessary third party trainings and inspections required for the project.
- Ensure the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Conduct emergency response drills and first-aid training sessions.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies for site inspections and audits.
- Coordinate with suppliers for procurement of safety gear, tools, and other materials.
- Ensure timely delivery and quality checks of ordered supplies.
- Liaise with manpower suppliers to ensure an adequate workforce on-site.
- Verify and maintain records of supplier agreements, invoices, and compliance documents.
- Ensure subcontractors and labor suppliers comply with HSE policies.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Support HR and Admin functions(timesheet, VISA processes), including employee safety induction.
- Maintain records related to permits, licenses, audits, and safety reports.
- Assist in procurement of safety equipment and administrative supplies.
- Coordinate office logistics, meetings, and document control.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Handle administrative support tasks, including filing, scheduling, and correspondence.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications: NEBOSH (Mandatory)
- Experience: Experience as HSE inspector, officer or engineer, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency in Outlook mail.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of permit-to-work systems, emergency response procedures, and first aid is an advantage.
