Health & Safety Manager
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
Certification in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA preferred.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
Sound knowledge of construction safety standards, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
Strong communication, leadership, and observation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate effectively with site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and monitor the project’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plan in accordance with statutory regulations and company standards.
2.Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and potential hazards.
3.Ensure that all workers comply with safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
4.Prepare and maintain records of site safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
5.Conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Inductions, and HSE training for new and existing employees.
6.Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
7.Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to implement risk control measures.
8.Ensure that all equipment, tools, and machinery are operated and maintained in safe condition.
9.Display and maintain safety signage, posters, and emergency contact information at site locations.
