1. Dispensing & Supply of Medicines

  • Prepare, check, and dispense prescriptions given by doctors.
  • Ensure correct dosage, form, and administration method.
  • Maintain records of all medicines issued.

2. Patient Safety & Counseling

  • Review prescriptions to avoid drug interactions, side effects, or allergies.
  • Educate patients on how and when to take their medicines.
  • Guide on storage, diet restrictions, and possible side effects.

3. Stock & Inventory Management

  • Maintain stock of medicines, IV fluids, surgical items, and vaccines.
  • Check expiry dates and manage replacement or disposal of expired drugs.
  • Place orders with suppliers as per hospital requirements.

4. Coordination with Doctors & Nurses

  • Work closely with medical and nursing staff to ensure effective treatment.
  • Provide information about new drugs, alternatives, and dosages.
  • Help in creating treatment or antibiotic protocols.

5. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all medications are stored under proper conditions.
  • Maintain pharmacy records as per hospital and government standards.
  • Follow hospital policies, NABH guidelines, and legal regulations.

6. Clinical & Administrative Duties

  • Participate in ward rounds to advise on drug therapy.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacology.
  • Help train junior pharmacists, interns, and nursing staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,343.92 - ₹26,300.96 per month
