Job Title: Health and Safety Officer / QHSE Officer (Saudization)

Location: Jeddah, KSA - Local candidates will be prioritized

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Supervisor in planning and executing HSE inspection activities during the CPS‑1 phase and throughout CPS operations.
• Oversee all health, safety, and environmental requirements during CPS‑1 to ensure timely acquisition of certifications and licenses necessary for the opening of the CPS HHR railway.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and enhance safety and environmental management systems in alignment with the HHR Safety Management System.
• Conduct audits and inspections of operations and maintenance activities to evaluate effectiveness and ensure compliance with organizational policies and the Safety Management System.
• Provide accurate inputs for generating safety performance reports and statistics, ensuring alignment with contractual O&M performance targets.
• Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures aimed at continuous improvement and reducing risks to passengers, contractors, employees, and the environment.
• Support process improvement initiatives and promote internal and external awareness of HSE matters, ensuring the establishment of clear HSE responsibilities and adherence to all applicable legislation, regulations, and agreed industry standards.
• Report current and future HSE requirements to the Supervisor, including implications of emerging legislation and business needs.
• Assist in guiding and coordinating the HSE team to ensure all deliverables meet required standards, are completed on time, and remain within set budgets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Safety Manager.

Qualifications:

• 2 - 3 years of similar experience.
