Our Health Department plays a critical role in ensuring that the medical, emotional, and behavioral health needs of youth are met with professionalism, compassion, and precision.

The Health Assistant is a key member of this team.

This role ensures that youth receive coordinated, timely, and compliant healthcare services — from medication administration and MAP oversight to appointment coordination and medical record accuracy. If you believe healthcare in a residential behavioral health setting requires organization, calm judgment, collaboration, and heart — this role may be for you.

We are seeking someone who is:

  • Able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
  • 2+ years’ experience in healthcare or behavioral health preferred
  • Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Tech, or related certification a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • MAP and CPR certification (required within 3 months of hire)
  • Ability to serve as MAP Site Supervisor in accordance with Massachusetts MAP regulations
  • Basic medical terminology knowledge and computer proficiency

HOURS & COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Full-Time (40 hours/week)
  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1st shift, flexible hours)
  • $23–$25/hour base pay, depending on experience, relevant certification, and MAP certification
  • Non-Exempt (Hourly)
