Health Center Manager

POSITION TITLE: Health Center Manager
LOCATION: Derry, NH
HOURS: Full Time, 37.5 hours/week, Salaried (Exempt)

POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for the administrative oversight of health center operations to include staffing,patient access and experience, staff development and experience, facility management, and budget adherence. Ensures adherence to all applicable policies and procedures, PPFA (Planned Parenthood Federation of America) & PPNNE (Planned Parenthood of Northern New England) standards, and state & federal regulations. Create and sustain an environment of trust, ensuring ongoing and relevant communications with employees, creating opportunities for employees to contribute to improving initiatives, and connecting how employees work at all levels to contribute to PPNNE patients' positive experience. Director of Clinical Care and Regional Clinical Directors oversee the quality of clinical care delivery.

YOUR DAY- TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the health center to keep everything running smoothly for patients and staff.
  • Leads and supports the team by setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and creating a respectful, positive work environment.
  • Ensures patients receive timely, high-quality care by organizing schedules, maintaining clinic flow, and keeping the space safe and well-equipped.
  • Monitors performance and operations, using data to identify issues and make improvements when needed.
  • Supports staff development through training, feedback, and opportunities for growth.
  • Oversees budgeting, supplies, and administrative processes to keep the health center efficient and compliant.
  • Builds relationships in the community to increase awareness of services and connect patients with care.

COMPENSATION:

  • Pay Range - for this position is based on years of relevant work experience. Candidates with can expect to earn between $63,000 - $72,000 per year.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in health care, business administration, or health care science, Registered nurse and or Telehealth experience (preferred);
  • 3-5 years of relevant healthcare practice and supervisory leadership experience (strongly preferred) and/or progressive leadership development with demonstrated leadership acumen;
  • Successfully completes online Basic Life Support (BLS) certification course within three (3) months of hire (strongly preferred);
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality patient care services and exemplary customer service;
  • Ability to work independently and exercises good judgement in escalating issues and concerns for
timely evaluation/resolution of same;
  • Ability to travel within PPNNE affiliate for meetings and training or educational opportunities as
requested.
