Job Summary:

As a Health Informatics Analyst, you will manage, analyze, and validate data, ensuring database updates, reconciliation and compliance with ProMedica and government requirements.

You will develop and update reporting methods, provide decision support and financial analyses to assist with data-driven decision making.

In this role, you will create data pipelines for ETL processes and work with the Data Warehousing Team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Math, Economics, IT, Physics, Finance, or related field). May substitute an MBA in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
  • Skills: Microsoft Excel/Access, SQL, Power BI, Python. Analytical thinking, information seeking, concern for quality and teamwork.
  • Years of Experience: 1-3 years in analytics, preferably in Health Informatics, Population Health, Finance, or IT

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Master’s Degree
  • Skills: Strong background in SQL, Power BI, and Python. Understanding of Medical Terminology. Experience with workflow optimization and process automation.
  • Years of Experience: Experience with health plans and/or hospital clinical and financial data.
