Remuneration: OMR 2,500 per month (Full Package)

The Clinical Mandate Situated in the Medical Heights district of Qurum, Birth Without Fear is seeking a Health-IT Coordinator to manage the intersection of our digital platforms and clinical services. This role is for a specialist who understands that in health tech, system reliability directly impacts patient care. You will be responsible for ensuring our healthcare information systems are seamless, secure, and fully optimized for our practitioners and the families they serve in Muscat.

Health-Tech DNA & Responsibilities

• Clinical System Governance: Oversee the administration and maintenance of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and specialized health-tech platforms, ensuring 100% uptime within the Medical Heights facility.
• Data Privacy & HIPAA Compliance: Implement and audit rigorous data protection protocols to ensure patient confidentiality aligns with the Sultanate’s health data regulations.
• Interdisciplinary Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clinical staff, translating medical workflow requirements into functional technical specifications.
• Telehealth Infrastructure: Manage and optimize the digital delivery systems for remote consultations, ensuring high-fidelity video and secure data exchange for off-site patient support.

Professional Requirements

• Field Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT coordination specifically within a healthcare, clinic, or medical technology environment in the Middle East.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with HL7 standards, EHR management, and medical imaging systems (PACS/DICOM).
• Linguistic Proficiency: C2-level professional English is required for managing medical documentation and communicating with international health-tech vendors.
• Patient-Centric Communication: Proficiency in using Loom to record system tutorials or technical updates for clinical staff who may not have a technical background.

Work Context Birth Without Fear offers a purpose-driven environment in the specialized Medical Heights area of Qurum. This position includes an OMR 2,500 monthly salary and the opportunity to support the digital backbone of a premier health-tech initiative in Oman.
