Health, Safety and Environmental Administrator

Job Purpose

Accountable for fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization. They play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulations, reducing workplace incidents, and promoting the well-being of employees and the environment. The coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing various HSE programs and initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement and risk reduction.

Roles, Responsibilities, Duties

• Liaise with the HSE Manager and the project team members to promote and provide safety expertise including the development and presentation of safety training materials
• Assist in Implementation of Health, Safety & Environmental Management System, ISO 45001, 14001 & OSHAD.
• Maintain and report HSE data / statistics on a regular basis
• Prepare written daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics and presentations related to HSE performance
• Maintain all records related to HSE function, including OSHAD filings, training records and injured worker data; assemble data for maintenance and filing of reports and logs, as well as other reports for outside agencies, as may be required
• Tracking all third-party training records and certificates as required to ensure full compliance with competency requirements for work activities.
• Prepare the HSE meetings reports
• Perform any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, the title of the post and it’s grading as assigned by the superior(s).
• Interaction with all relevant sections/ departments on requirement basis.
• Support to maintain a healthy & safe environment at the workplace.

Education & Qualification:

A bachelor's degree /Diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field

Experience and Skills:

Industry Experience (No. of years):

Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
