Job Description

• Develop, monitor and provide guidance on the implementation of the Division HSEMS Plan.
• Directs and supervise Construction Safety Engineers and provide guidance with regard to Health, Safety and Environmental aspects.
• Provide Advice to Project teams on all related HSE issues throughout the project life from concept to commissioning.
• Carry out regular site visits to monitor the implementation of Construction related HSE issues and follow up implementation.
• Set criteria and carry out technical evaluation of projects and make recommendations to Project Engineers.
• Carry out self-assessment for Construction HSEMS Plan and recommend enhancement measures.
• Co-ordinates responses and follows up action items for Project HSE Reviews.
• Identify Risk based training needs for the division and contractors.
• Develop technical criteria and carry out Contractors pre-qualifications.
• Prepare and interpret HSE statistics for the Division and make recommendations to enhance performance.
• Lead / Participate in different Project's reviews such as HAZOP, HAZID, PHSER, HSEIA.
• Lead / Participate in Technical HSE audits (THSE) related to the facilities engineering, construction and operation.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Engineering discipline, plus formal training leading to a PG dip. or MSc (12-24 months) OR B.Sc. in Safety Engineering from a reputable university.
• 12 Years Safety & Environmental Experience including at least 5 years in oil and gas processing facilities.
