Health, Safety & Environment Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and report daily HSE KPIs, incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.
  • Identify and address unsafe behaviors and conditions through plant inspections and Gemba walks.
  • Ensure compliance with local legal requirements and global HSE standards.
  • Lead safety investigations and implement preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, and external authorities on HSE matters.
  • Manage HSE budgets, Capex/Opex projects, and external consultants.
  • Drive safety culture initiatives, training, waste management, and sustainability reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (preferred).
  • NEBOSH certification.
  • 5–7 years of HSE experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards, legal compliance, and risk assessment.
  • Fluent Arabic and good English communication skills.
