Health Safety Environment Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Lead safety training sessions for employees and monitor adherence to safety guidelines.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Advise management on safety improvements and implement safety programs.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, certifications, and compliance audits.
• Stay updated on industry safety standards, regulations, and best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of total experience including 10 years as a safety engineer.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and accident investigation.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Certification in safety management or health & safety (NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
• Must be residing in Qatar with a valid QID and NOC.
