Job Opportunity: HSE Engineer – Sohar, Oman

Salary Range: 1200 OMR to 1400 OMR + OT (All inclusive)

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Engineer to support a Brownfield Expansion Project located in Sohar, Oman. This is a full-time, long-term role, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major industrial project within a dynamic and safety-focused environment.

Position: HSE Engineer

• Location: Sohar, Oman
• Project Type: Brownfield Expansion
• Duration: Full-Time | Long-Term Assignment
• Total Experience Required: Minimum 10 years
• Relevant HSE Experience: Minimum 5 years
• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Environmental, Safety, or Chemical)
• Certification: NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee HSE engineering functions and implement advanced safety strategies.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments in accordance with client and regulatory standards.
• Develop HSE procedures, reports, and compliance tracking tools.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Deliver toolbox talks and promote a strong HSE culture among all project stakeholders.
• Monitor contractor HSE performance and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reporting in line with client requirements.

Skills Required:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE analysis/reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of industrial HSE standards and regulations.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
