Health Safety Environment Officer

HSSE Officer

We are looking for a qualified and committed HSSE Officer to support our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase, ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) are maintained at site.

🔹 Position: HSSE Officer – O&M Phase

🔹 Department: HSSE

🔹 Work Mode: Site-based

🔹 Experience Required: Minimum 2 years (O&M experience preferred)

✅ Roles & Responsibilities

The HSSE Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

1-Implement and maintain HSSE policies, procedures, and programs during the O&M phase

2-Monitor compliance with company standards, client requirements, and local legal regulations

3-Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

4-Identify hazards and ensure effective control measures are in place

5-Support Permit to Work (PTW) systems and job safety analysis (JSA)

6-Lead and participate in incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions

7-Deliver HSSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness training

8-Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices

9-Monitor environmental aspects such as waste management, spill prevention, and environmental protection

10-Maintain HSSE records, reports, and statistics

11-Promote a positive safety culture among employees and contractors

12-Act as site focal point for HSSE-related matters during O&M activities

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

OSHA Constrcution - NIOSH - GWO " Vaild"

Fluent in English

Minimum 2 years HSSE experience, with O&M phase experience preferred

Knowledge of HSSE regulations, ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards

Strong understanding of risk assessment and incident investigation

Good communication and reporting skills

Ability to work independently and proactively on site

Computer literacy (MS Office, reporting systems)
