Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory (ASMEF), a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding LLC, is a leading provider of engineering, fabrication, and ship repair services for the oil & gas and marine sectors. We are seeking a proactive and safety-driven HSE Officer for an
offshore project
to ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while promoting a strong safety culture across projects.
Key Responsibilities

Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and company standards across all site and offshore activities.

Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and international HSE standards.

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.

Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for employees and contractors.

Monitor proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe work practices.

Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records for audits and compliance purposes.

Coordinate with project teams, supervisors, and management on all HSE-related matters.

Promote continuous improvement in safety practices and awareness across the organization.

Assist in emergency response planning, drills, and implementation of preventive measures.

Ensure environmental compliance, including waste management and pollution control practices.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the HSE Manager or Project Manager.
Qualifications & Experience

Education:
Diploma or Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 4-6 years of HSE experience in offshore, marine, fabrication, or oil & gas projects.

Certification:
NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent certifications preferred.

Mandatory Requirement:
ADNOC approval is required.

Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to identify hazards and implement effective control measures.

Proficient in MS Office and HSE reporting systems.

Fluency in English (mandatory); Arabic is an advantage.
