Health Safety Environment Officer (Omani National)

About the Role

We are seeking an HSE Officer who will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance and managing health, safety, security, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily yard activities to ensure full safety compliance
• Conduct site inspections, hazard identification & risk assessments
• Enforce proper use of PPE at all times
• Investigate incidents, accidents & near-misses with root cause analysis
• Maintain accurate safety records and align with HQ systems
• Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions & training sessions
• Participate in weekly/monthly safety meetings
• Coordinate with internal departments & client HSE teams
• Inspect client sites to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• 6+ years of HSE experience (heavy machinery/construction preferred)

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards
• Excellent communication skills (English + local language preferred)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience in heavy machinery/construction
