Job Description: Health & Safety Officer

Liar Fire System is a leading safety solutions provider based in Doha, Qatar, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of health and safety in all our operations. We are currently seeking a committed Health & Safety Officer to join our team and help promote a culture of safety within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and resources to employees on health and safety practices, ensuring they understand procedures and responsibilities.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend measures to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with management to promote a safe working environment and improve safety performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Health & Safety Officer or in a similar role, preferably within the fire safety industry.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels.
• Proficient in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Information:

• Salary: QAR 50 - 100 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
• Location: 49 Safety Plaza, Doha, Qatar.
