Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments (JSA/JHA); report findings and track corrective actions.
  • Enforce compliance with Qatari HSE regulations and company safety policies; support ISO 45001 requirements.
  • Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, training and awareness programs; maintain training records.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, perform root-cause analysis, prepare incident reports and recommend preventive measures.
  • Support permit-to-work systems, hot-work controls, confined space entry and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Monitor PPE use, ensure safety signage and safety equipment are in place and maintained.
  • Liaise with contractors to verify HSE performance and pre-qualification compliance.
  • Maintain HSE documentation, prepare KPI reports, and support management reviews.
  • Assist with emergency response planning, drills and coordination with local emergency services.
  • Promote a positive safety culture through coaching and visible leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
  • 2+ years HSE experience, preferably in construction, facilities or industrial environments in the GCC.
  • NEBOSH IGC, IOSH or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of local HSE regulations and best practices.
  • Strong communication, observation and report-writing skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR18.00 - QAR25.00 per hour
