About Us

We are a corporate law firm with a unique model: we serve as outside general counsel to a select portfolio of clients, many of whom operate in the healthcare industry. Our team partners closely with business leaders, becoming deeply embedded in their operations and strategy rather than working as distant outside counsel.

We are not a traditional law firm. There are no billable hours here. Instead, our culture emphasizes proactive communication, continuous learning, and client engagement. We are committed to helping our attorneys build meaningful client relationships while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Attorneys at our firm gain exposure to a broad range of matters and industries while working within a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Healthcare Attorney with strong experience representing healthcare providers and organizations. This is a client-facing role where you will serve as a trusted advisor, helping business leaders navigate both day-to-day legal needs and long-term strategic initiatives.

The position is designed for someone who thrives in a general counsel capacity—comfortable balancing regulatory counseling with business transactions, and who values being part of the client’s growth story. You will have direct interaction with clients’ executive teams, contribute to high-impact decisions, and enjoy the support of a close-knit firm that values your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary or supporting counsel to healthcare clients, advising on operational, transactional, and compliance matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including management agreements, provider agreements, employment agreements, and vendor contracts.
  • Advise on healthcare regulatory issues, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, EMTALA, licensing, and state/federal compliance frameworks.
  • Support clients through transactions such as acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate structuring.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services across practice areas.
  • Provide practical, business-oriented advice tailored to each client’s goals.

Qualifications

  • Texas Bar License  (Required).
  • 4–8 years of law practice with  demonstrated healthcare law experience  (required).
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
  • Ability to manage client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Experience working with hospitals, physician groups, FECs, ASCs, or healthcare startups preferred.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards, teamwork, and continuous growth.
