Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience across various medical specialties. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with medical regulations.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients to determine their health status.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and management of patient information.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including critical care, inpatient, and outpatient services.
- Perform various medical procedures such as suturing, airway management, and catheterization as required.
- Engage in clinical research to contribute to advancements in medical knowledge and practices.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding preventive care and disease management.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with medical advancements.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of residency program in a relevant specialty.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.
- Proficiency in EHR systems, with experience using Epic preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical practices across various specialties including but not limited to cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, psychiatry, and emergency medicine.
- Experience with diagnostic imaging techniques such as CT scans and mammography is advantageous.
- Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with coding systems such as CPT and ICD coding is beneficial.
