Healthcare Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in their homes in accordance with medical prescriptions and company protocols.
• Administer IV infusions, injections, and medications safely and accurately, following proper aseptic and infection-control techniques.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, reactions to treatment, and overall condition during and after IV therapy.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and tube feeding as required.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and proper follow-up.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation, treatment records, and progress reports for each patient visit.
• Educate patients and family members on medication usage, post-treatment care, and health maintenance.
• Respond promptly to any adverse reactions, complications, or emergencies, following appropriate escalation procedures.
• Ensure safe handling and disposal of medical equipment, sharps, and supplies in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Conduct health assessments and routine check-ups for chronic care or post-surgical patients at home.
• Support and counsel patients and families, promoting comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being.
• Adhere to all DHA/DOH/MOH standards, infection control protocols, and nursing ethics.
• Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development to maintain clinical competency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members (physicians, physiotherapists, nutritionists, etc.) for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of patient interaction.
