The Healthcare Receptionist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of a healthcare facility. Responsibilities

  • Process billing and collect payments for services rendered promptly.
  • Coordinate with medical staff for patient check-ins and service updates.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers effectively.
  • Assist in emergency procedures and guide patients accordingly when necessary.
  • Monitor patient flow and liaise with nurses and doctors regarding patient appointments.
  • Prepare and distribute patient-related paperwork and documents as needed.
  • Provide basic administrative support to healthcare staff and management team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education level is required.
  • Prior experience in reception or administrative roles in healthcare settings.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach to patient interaction.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and Microsoft Office suite.
